California faced nearly one month of wildfires, from January 7th to January 31st. Among the devastating was the Eaton Canyon wildfire. While the fires caused property damage and displacement, the community and outside communities banded together, to support affected residents.
“MOKWHEEL stands with all the families and communities affected by the wildfires," stated Jojo Cagungun, Mokwheel’s Chief Executive Officer, during a meeting on January 18th. "Seeing the community come together in times of adversity strengthens our belief in the power of unity."

Demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility, Mokwheel mobilized and partnered with local organizations and volunteers. Employees worked together to collect and distribute essential relief supplies.
“Efficient resource deployment is crucial," explained Mokwheel’s Sales Director Marcelo Sartori. "With roads remaining open, our teams were able to quickly deliver aid to those who needed it most."
On January 23rd, the MOKWHEEL team arrived in Pasadena, collaborating with local relief centers to ensure the organized distribution of emergency supplies. Recognizing the critical need for power, Mokwheel also provided portable power stations, comprised of batteries, inverters, and solar panels, to support firefighters at Station 33, rescue teams, and displaced residents.

"We are grateful to be part of this community, where people come together in times of crisis," the Sales Director added. "This relief effort demonstrated the strength of community support, and we are honored to contribute in any way we can."

In addition to on-the-ground relief efforts, Mokwheel’s CEO announced the launch of a fundraising initiative, pledging to donate $100 for every electric bike sold. The money raised from this campaign will be donated to the fire department to further support rescue operations and assist affected communities in rebuilding and returning to normalcy.
