I did a lot of research before finally pulling the trigger with my first eBike. I specifically wanted something cost effective, could be used as a commuter for work, had suspension for horrible roads near my house, and was on the more lightweight side. I went back and forth between the Asphalt ST and Aventon Level.2 and finally went with the Mokwheel. I've probably put a solid 200 miles or so on it since late November and haven't had any technical issues. I've found the battery life to be great--I'm typically only riding on PAS level 1. I will say, coming from having a super light road bike to an eBike has been a transition; getting it in the elevator and maneuvering it into my cubicle is a little challenging so I hope in a few years when it's time for an upgrade eBikes overall get even more light.

Assembly was pretty easy. There was a bag taped to handlebar with a part in it that was not referenced in book or online video? As for the bike itself, because its the middle of winter and we have 2 feet of snow on the ground I haven't been able to actually ride yet.

I've ridden other E-bikes, belonging to friends and compared this bike against other brands. The price is very fair and a great value. The bike itself is a quality product and feels great when you are riding it. This bike is amazing! Performance exceeded my expectations!

After researching e-bikes for the last year I chose to purchase the MOKWEEL Asphalt ST. The first step in my decision process was to pick the type of bike that would be best for the type of riding I do. Most of my riding is recreational touring on improved roads and bike paths. The second part of my decision making process was selecting a company that has been around for a while, has some name recognition, and a large number of real, positive, customer reviews. The third consideration in the quality of components and features that fit my riding style and needs. The Asphalt ST is equipped everything I was looking for; a 500W motor, torque sensor, Shimano gears, hydraulic brakes, LG battery, rack, fenders, a comfortable seat headlight and tail and brake lights. I also like that I have the option to increase the throttle speed if I chose to Delivery and unboxing - I received the bikes and all the extras I ordered within a week. It has been my experience that you can tell a lot about the quality of a product by the packaging. The packaging was very sturdy and the bikes were well protected during shipping. The fit and finish of the bikes and components are top notch. Assembly was simple and good quality real tools were included! First Ride Impressions - I am very impressed with the build quality and the fit and finish of this bike. The bike feels rock solid. Although the bike weighs in a 60 lbs with the battery installed, it doesn't feel heavy when pedaling without pedal assist. It definately can be ridden as a regular pedal bike. The pedal assist is seamless and fun. Riding the bike just brings a smile to your face. It is also nice to have the option to throttle only if you want a little break. I am looking forward to putting many miles on our bikes.
